SAA – Back To Basics – 12-Step Workshop

Go through all Twelve Steps in One Day! Skipping only 2023, a 20-year tradition restarts this year, with a Back to Basics SAA Workshop. Based on the AA Newcomers meetings from ‘40’s & ‘50’s, which boasted 75% success! The Twelve Steps are explained simply, and independent of gender, specific addictions, and any specific understanding of God. Based on Back to the Basics of Recovery, by Wally P, AA Historian.
- Learn, practice (or review) all 12 steps.
- Learn the history of twelve step recovery.
- Bring pen and paper, water, a potluck item for lunch; optional: bring AA big book, a sponsor or sharing partner or group.
By 7th Tradition only. A donation of $10 or more is suggested, to cover the cost of the room and incidental costs. (We usually take a collection to run out for coffee.)
Sponsored by the SAA Monday Shoreline meeting, and the SAA Saturday morning Everett meeting. Volunteers arriving at 9 AM needed to help set up the room.
